Housing a private collection of early works by Robert Rauschenberg and Cy Twombly, the form of the collection takes the methods of John Cage as it’s generator, a man whose was highly influential to both men during the time the work was being created.

Starting with the notion that each art work deserved a room, a limited number of basic forms were subjected to a series of chance operations (in the nature of John Cage) and distributed across the site. Room entrance locations, spatial volume, and materiality were all determined in a similar fashion. In this case, it is the authenticity of the designer that is under scrutiny.
