In the post-pandemic era of remote work and virtual everything, building community through in-person connection is more important than ever. Marin is home to a dynamic mix of individuals, creatives, builders, businesses, artists, and non-profit leaders, all spending more time locally than before. We believe it’s time for creating a new, vibrant gathering space for everyone to meet and build deeper connections in our cultural community. We are creating a world-class gathering place to bring our unique community together.

Bay Area Regional Design
Arts and Crafts design language, redwood and cypress paneling, artisan tile, landscape murals and handwoven fabrics: traditional and contemporary elements referencing local materials, history and methods.

Hidden Refuge
A uniquely Marin spirit of connection and counterculture, woven together with hidden magic in a dynamic natural environment just moments away from the city.

Progressive Thoughts
Home to generations of thinkers, writers, musicians and filmmakers, Marin has always played host to inventors and visionaries.

In 1907, the Bank of Mill Valley was established on Throckmorton at Madrona. The neoclassical main structure is brick-faced with terracotta detailing and is the first masonry building in Mill Valley.

The heart of the Treehouse and its main gathering space, the Redwood Room occupies the location of the original 1911 bank lobby. Double-height ceilings are coffered in redwood panels, reminiscent of the long-gone plaster detailing. Lit by early sun for morning coffee or set in a soft glow for late-night conversation, the central bar and great room tables provide space for group hangouts or meeting new acquaintances. Loose arrangements of furniture create a casual, timeless atmosphere: perfect for arriving by bike to a relaxed lunch, socializing over an after-work cocktail or attending a smart event.
